Born in Hamilton Ontario, Steve began working in the pool industry with Oasis Pools as a high school student in the 1970′s.

After completing his undergraduate degree at McMaster University, he relocated to Edmonton, Alberta and worked in large scale commercial concrete pool construction. While there, he developed expertise in various types of concrete placement including forming and pouring and both dry and wet shotcreting.

In 1980 he returned to Hamilton and purchased Oasis Pools.

Steve’s areas of expertise include new pool sales and construction, advanced control systems and water chemistry. He currently resides in Burlington with his wife and three children.
