Located in Burlington, Ontario, this large 20′ by 40′ geometric pool and spa combination utilizes an automatic cover to reduce heating and dehumidification costs by up to 90%.

In an indoor environment, it is crucial that humidity levels are appropriately maintained in order to preserve the structural integrity of the building as well as providing a comfortable environment. In the past, this was a very difficult process requiring a tremendous expenditure of energy due to the evaporative heat and water loss from the pool surface. By covering the pool when not in use, this is need is greatly reduced. Further, the cover provides a measure of safety for the homeowner’s small children.
